3E International Cafe
Every year, 3E (Energy, Environment and Economy) holds an international cafe for youth from around the world. The last event was held in August, 2009.
The 3E International Cafe is a gathering of young people from Asia to discuss the environmental challenges we face, engage in extensive interaction with the United Nations Environment Program and formulate concrete proposals for future strategies to reduce the use of energy and to spread an environmentally friendly youth culture.
The 3E International Cafe met in October of 2009 at the time of the UNEP Tunza Conference for Children and Youth. The had a historic chance to formulate their opinions and consult with the youth from the United Nations Environment Conference for children and youth for consideration at the historic Copenhagen Conference on the Environment in December, 2009.
The 3E Forum goes beyond the environment to consider larger issues involving the economy and energy so important to youth.
