Overlooking beautiful Daecheong Lake is one of Daejeon's great treasures: Konnimi (Gonnimi). This masterpiece of art, landscaping and cuisine is the creation of owner Seo Jonghyeon. Outside, tables in the midst of a sculpture garden have stunning views over the lake and the Gyejok san Mountain. Do be sure to come in the evening. The food, especially, the smoked duck, is excellent, as is the service.
